Wind Energy Basic Safety Training: 18+

Graduating seniors or other high school students (must be over the age of 18) can earn their Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training credential, the internationally accepted pathway to entry-level positions as wind turbine technicians. This is the fastest growing career in the country and pays well above the average Louisiana salary! Completion of the GWO BST is the first step towards a lucrative and exciting career in the wind energy industry. Students will complete the following modules: First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Working at Heights.
