Family Center of Hope Launches “Rebuilding Lives” GiveNOLA Day Campaign to Support Youth & Families Across New Orleans

Early Giving Begins April 28; Community Invited to “Sip & Give” on May 5

NEW ORLEANS, LA — April 28, 2026 — The Family Center of Hope (FCH) today announced the launch of its 2026 GiveNOLA Day campaign, a multi-phase initiative aimed at expanding support for youth and families through prevention, intervention, and healing services. The campaign kicks off with Early Giving on April 28 and culminates on GiveNOLA Day, May 5, with a community-centered event, Sip & Give.

GiveNOLA Day, hosted annually by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a 24-hour online giving event that mobilizes thousands of donors to support nonprofit organizations across Southeast Louisiana. This year, Family Center of Hope is calling on the community to help “Rebuild Lives one ANCHOR at a time.”

“Every gift represents an opportunity to intervene early, strengthen families, and redirect young lives toward hope and stability,” said Reverend Patricia Watson - Executive Director, Family Center of Hope. “This campaign is about more than fundraising—it’s about community transformation.”

Campaign Highlights

Early Giving (April 28 – May 4) Donors are encouraged to give early to build momentum and expand immediate impact. Early contributions support Family Center of Hope’s core programs, including The Anchor (New Orleans Youth Assessment Center), which provides comprehensive assessments and connects youth ages 10–17 to critical services.

Become a F.A.N. by (Funding Annual Needs) The campaign introduces the F.A.N. initiative, inviting supporters to fund the organization’s ongoing annual needs. These contributions sustain vital services such as trauma-informed care, family support programming, and youth stabilization efforts during high-risk hours.

GiveNOLA Day Event — “Sip & Give” (May 5) To celebrate the campaign’s impact, Family Center of Hope will host Sip & Give, a community gathering designed to connect donors, partners, and supporters with the mission in a meaningful way. Attendees will hear stories of transformation, meet program leaders, and learn how their support directly changes lives.
